Maternity shoot – trying out my own business
We woke up to a sunny but quite cold Sunday morning and decided to head out onto the backyard for a maternity photo session. I’ve only got three months left until the due date and it seemed like the perfect timing for some pictures. We’ll do a second shoot later! It’s good to be behind the camera and learn what my clients feel like. I showed Héctor where to find the best light and set the camera together with him. We went through the poses quickly, so there wasn’t really any time to get cold or bored. The best pictures are also the less posed ones, a bit candid and full of emotion. There was always a warm scarf and jacket nearby as well. I did a quick edit, picking only the flattering photos. A light touch up and editing according the the mood. It was all very smooth and I am happy with the result. I can recommend the experience to anyone! And thank you to ever so talented Héctor for the pictures!
