Get to know me a bit!

I am happy you found your way here. I work as a family photographer and photojournalist in Helsinki, Finland. Thank you for considering me.

• I was born in Jakobstad and live in Helsinki since 2010.
• I hold a Master’s degree in art history. I have minored in journalism. Photography has been a big part of my life since childhood. I have done courses along the way, both at university and on my own.
• I have lived abroad for some years, in Spain and Peru. I started doing humanitarian work in Lima which later led me to a communications position at an international aid organization in Helsinki.
• I started focusing more on family photography during my maternity leave 2019-2021. My two year old son has recently started nursery part-time, allowing me to dedicate more time to this.
• As a former journalist I enjoy meeting new people and looking for special, new places for photo shoots.
• I love coffee, decorating our home, sunny mornings and days spent by water and outdoors. Sometimes I write poetry and paint. I enjoy dancing!
• I value compassion, kindness and personal growth. I want to be present each day.
• I would love to meet you! I like to capture spontaneous moments, bringing out the best in you. I listen to your needs and take time finding the right solution. You will be relaxed, happy and at ease with me.
